I know we can get trade alerts sent to a discord channel but is there anyway to send a message to discord when i place a trade (market/limit) using tradingview? ive tried but cant find a solution which is frustrating, cheers.

How about creating an alert when placing the limit order or the market order, and when the alert is triggered, the information is sent to your Discord?
In the message box of the alert you would have the command indication the entry price of your limit order.
Hi thanks for your reply, i was just wandering if there was a way around having to manually create the alert like you can do in mt5/c trader but it appears not, i could manually create the alerts, the challenge though is if i exit id have to create another alert and one if i changed my stop etc, so it becomes quite cumbersome, hopefully tradingview can put something in place. cheers.
The workaround could be to create an automated strategy that can give alerts any time you do this.
