Sometimes, alerts from Tradingview to MT5/4 may reach your Telegram channel but not executed to your MT4/5, there are several reasons as to that as outlined here:
- Your MT4/5 was not running when the alert arrived. You should always make sure your Meta Trader is running in order to execute the alerts, a VPS is recommended here.
- You failed to add the bot you created to your channel. You should have two bots in your channel both with admin rights, the TradingViewtobot, and the bot that you created at BotFather.
Once the above errors are corrected, reinstall the TradingView to MT4/5 EA on to your chart and you are good to go!
